About the conference

The 13th International Conference on Inertial Fusion Sciences and Applications will be held from the 14th to the 19th of September 2025 in Tours, France.

The goal of the conference is to bring together scientists and engineers in the fields of inertial fusion sciences and high-energy-density physics, of their applications and of the all the required technologies.

The scientific program will be built from invited talks, oral contributions and posters – presenting and discussing the theoretical, computational and experimental latest results from laboratories and facilities worldwide in three key topics: Inertial Fusion Physics, Machine Technologies and High Energy Density Physics & applications.

The conference is chaired by Jean-Luc Miquel (France), John Edwards (USA) and Ryosuke Kodama (Japan).
