Edward Teller Medal
This medal is given in recognition of pioneering research and leadership in the use of high intensity drivers (e.g. lasers, ion-particle beams, pulsed power) to produce unique high-density matter for scientific research and to conduct investigations of inertial fusion.
The 2025 awardees of the Edward Teller Medal are:

Hye-Sook Park (LLNL, USA) for her pioneering high-energy density experimental work in high pressure materials science, inertial confinement fusion, and astrophysical collisionless shock generation, the resulting particle acceleration, and magnetic field generation

Siegfried Glenzer (SLAC, USA) for his visionary leadership in advancing critical capabilities enabling ignition at the National Ignition Facility, his pioneering contributions to fundamental scientific understanding, and his transformative impact on mentoring and training the next generation of leaders in High Energy Density Science and Inertial Confinement Fusion

Edouard Fabre Prize
The prize is rewarding active researchers at mid-career (within 15 years of the doctoral degree) working on ICF-related topics.
The call for nomination of the 2025 Edouard Fabre Prize is now open; the deadline is July 3, 2025. More information here.

Chiyoe Yamanaka Award
The Yamanaka award is given to early-career students/scientists and is sponsored by IFE Forum, Japan.
The call for nomination of the 2025 Chiyoe Yamanaka Award is now open; the deadline is June 27, 2025. More information here.
