Conference registration

Important notes

  • It will not be possible to register after the 14th of July, 2025, 1 pm CET!
  • Early rates apply till the 23rd of June, 2025, 1 pm CET.

VIPs are keynote speakers and prize awardees.

Registration fees include

  • for the participants:
    • admission to all scientific (oral or poster) sessions and to the exhibition,
    • the conference materials (badge, final program and goodies),
    • access to the coffee breaks, welcome reception and banquet,
  • for the accompanying persons:
    • a badge,
    • access to the welcome reception and banquet.

All foreign nationals wishing to enter France must be able to submit statutory documents at the border concerning the reasons for their stay, their means of support and accommodation arrangements. A visa is generally required, in the absence of a waiver. More on the Visa information webpage.

Thanks to the IAEA sponsoring, funds may be available for travel support (travel expenses and living expenses, including incidentals, connected with the event) for participants from IAEA Member States eligible to receive technical assistance under the IAEA’s technical cooperation programme. Please contact the IFSA2025 Office to request such financial support. Preference will be given to participants who are expected to make an important contribution to the event.

Cancellation policy

  • If a paid registrant is unable to attend the conference for any reason, his/her registration can be transferred to someone else from the same organization, subject to the organizer’s approval.
  • If a paid registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her registration to another person, then the following refund rules apply:
    • registrations cancelled before publication of the scientific program: full refund of registration fees
    • registrations cancelled between publication of the scientific program and closing of registrations: 50% refund of the registration fees
    • registrations cancelled after closing of registrations: not eligible for refund
  • Paid registrants obliged to cancel because of failed visa application will be refunded the registration fees paid after deduction of a 100€ administration charge per person.

Notification must be received by email to the IFSA2025 Office not later than 1 week before the start of the conference to be eligible.

Note that payments on site are possible upon request to IFSA2025 Office.

Refunds will be made according to:

  • for payments received by credit/debit cards, the same card will be refunded;
  • for all other payments, a bank transfer will be made to the payee named on the account (if outside Europe, all bank charges will be payable by the recipient)


Hotel reservation

Rooms have been pre-booked till mid-June 2025 at preferential rates (from 80€ to 200€, breakfast included but daily tourist taxes excluded). Please click here to reserve them. Note that September is still high season in Tours and that room reservation must be done as soon as possible.


Excursion registration

The excusion will be organized Wednesday 17 September afternoon, from 1 to 7:30 pm.

The prize – 87€ per participant – includes:

    • a lunch box (to be distributed just after the last Wednesday morning session),

    • transportation from and to the Conference Center,

    • the entrance to the Chenonceau castle and gardens,

    • the services of an English-speaking tour guide,

    • the commented visit of the winery and the wine tasting (including a cheese and charcuterie board).
