Abstract submission

Electronic abstract submission is available from February 11 to April 11, 2025.

Instructions

One-page abstracts in PDF format should be electronically submitted through the IFSA2025 OpenConf web site following the guidelines listed below.

  • Please dowload the IFSA2025 abstract template (Word format) here for preparing your abstract.
  • Write your abstract according to the formatting instructions of the template and save it as a PDF file.
  • Submit your abstract through the IFSA2025 OpenConf web site before the deadline.
  • You will receive a confirmation email that your abstract has been successfully uploaded.
  • Register to the IFSA2025 registration web site (payment is not mandatory at that stage).
  • The Technical Program Committee (TPC) will review the abstracts of registered participants only according to the conference scope, content, and originality.
  • You will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of your contribution before May 14, 2025.

Important notes

  • The first author must be the presenter.
  • The presenter’s information [name, affiliation, e-mail address] should be carefully listed to allow all correspondence to proceed through him/her
  • Abstracts submitted by e-mail will not be accepted.
  • Reasonable PDF file sizes (<1Mb) would be appreciated; so please refrain to include more than 1 figure.
  • The appropriate topic (see list here) should be clearly identified to ensure appropriate reviewing.

IFSA2025 policy

  • The first author (the presenter) of a submitted abstract must be a registered participant. The TPC will reject any paper deviating from this rule.
  • Only one submission per registered participant is allowed.
  • For a presenter who will be unable to attend the conference and will have to cancel his/her registration once notification of acceptance received, he/she can request a paid registered participant to present his/her paper if
    • either this substitute is not presenting a paper (oral or poster),
    • or – in case the substitute has already a paper accepted – 2 registration fees are actually paid (1 for the substitute, plus 1 for the defaulting presenter).
